David Beckham Signs 5 Months Deal With PSG

David Beckham has joined French Ligue 1 side Paris St Germain and announced he would be playing for free.
The ex-England captain, 37, signed a five-month deal and said he would be donating his salary to charity.
“I’m excited, it’s something we’ve been working on and talking about for quite a while,” he said on Thursday.
“I won’t receive any salary. My salary will go to a local children’s charity. That’s one of the things we are excited and proud to do.”
“I was lucky to work with Carlo and Leonardo [director of football] for a few months. Carlo was one of the best managers I’ve played or so it’s exciting on a number of levels.”
He added: “[Ibrahimovic] is one of the players I’m excited to play alongside. Ibra was someone I’ve watched for many years, in my early days playing for England against Sweden, and I always felt he could be one of the best players in the world.
“I watched a lot of games last year and a lot of games this season. There’s a lot of talent in this team.”
I always had a feeling that he’ll go to Paris because that’s one of the fashion capitals of the world.

Although he refused to renew his contract with L.A Galaxy after the 2012 session, David Beckham is still trying to keep in shape by training with the Arsenal squad.
Although Arsenal fans were speculating that he might just be on his way to join Arsenal, Arsene Wenger claimed that he is just training with them to gain fitness.
Beckham wore the training kit of flop striker Marouane Chamakh, who is currently on loan at West Ham, as he trained with the team.
He was later seen sharing a joke with Jack Wilshere, Lukas Podolski and the rest of the squad.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is determined to prove he can still play at the highest level.

A young David Beckham fan got the shock of his life while shopping with his mum.
They were asked to take a picture in a photo booth to show their support for the Olympics while they were shopping. As they posed to take a picture, a face popped into the photo booth asking if he could join in. Lo and Behold, it was David Beckham!!! The little boy burst into tears when he realised it was David Beckham while his mother remained stunned.
The trick was done to 60 others who posed at the photo booth and it was done as part of the Take The Stage Campaign run by Adidas, which David Beckham is a brand ambassador of.
Awwwwww… Thats so thoughtful of David. Even me as an adult, I dont think i’ll be able to contain myself if it happens to me. If you like call me agbaya, na you sabi. Lolll
