Olamide and D’banj Spotted Atlanta

The pair have now taken their friendship to Atlanta, US, amidst growing rumours that Olamide may be considering signing to D’Banj’s DB Records.

Leemagazine gathered that they travelled over the weekend to Houston for a Monday, May 5 ‘The Wipe Out‘ concert featuring Ikechukwu, Naeto C, Sinzu and others. The concert was however cancelled with promoters promising it will hold on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Read More

D’banj To Perform At AFCON Closing Ceremony

The Koko master, D’Banj has been billed to perform at the AFCON closing ceremony.

D’Banj who made the theme song for the competition said ” am honored and words fail to describe the warmth I get from my fans in this country,”

He said further “I am looking forward to having more than 6.6-billion viewers globally watch my performance.”

Kanye To Reconcile Don Jazzy & D’Banj

I just saw this picture on Popoffcentral website this morning. I hope it is true sha. But why is Kanye the one making the move? Is he tired of D’banj already or he can’t really blend in to his kind of music yet? Well whatever it is, i really want those guys back. I have so missed the mo’hits crew.

DB Records owner and pop artiste D’Banj is desperately trying to reconcile with his former Mo’ Hits partner Don Jazzy. In a bid to get his former maverick producer back, D’Banj asked Kanye West to talk to Don Jazzy. A few months ago the rap superstar called Don Jazzy to try and get the two Mo’ Hits owners to forget the past and work again. Our source who is close to both D’Banj and Don Jazzy confirms this to be true and says that D’Banj’s attempts to get Don Jazzy back has been going on for a sometime.

Our news story also coincides with the Kanye West, Don Jazzy and D’Banj story in today’s edition of City People. According to the magazine, “Kanye West, believed to be at the center of the controversy that led to their fight is making efforts to reconcile them…Kanye West was not aware of the fight between D’Banj and Don Jazzy until 3 months ago and has been trying to get them together.”

The City People story goes on to say that “while he was in the studio with D’Banj some weeks back working on the remix of “Scapegoat” he brought the topic up again and asked D’banj why Don Jazzy was not in the US with him working on the song. D’Banj was said to have told him that they are still friends but work on different platforms now. Kanye was said not to be happy about the fact that his name was in the internet as one of the reasons the duo fell apart. He insists they get back together if he has to keep working with D’banj. He prompted D’Banj to once again try and make up with Don Jazzy.

“Recently D’Banj invited Kanye West to come to Nigeria for the video shoot of “Scape Goat” remix he did with Kanye. Kanye accepted but gave a strict condition that he will come only after he must have reconciled with Don Jazzy who must also be in the video.”

According to the City People story, after several attempts by D’Banj, Don Jazzy agreed to appear in the video on a condition that he gets paid for his appearance.

The Koko master, D’Banj was recently spotted at the video shoot of Tony Montana Remix with Naeto C.

But this time, he posed for a picture with a leopard, and he even wore matching shoes with the animals skin. D’ Banj can never disappoint. Lie Lie!!!

Wizkid To D’Banj – Don’t Be An Akpan…lol

I really don’t know if he actually tweeted this or his account was hacked but if he did, then i foresee many “beefings” to start soon. Wizkid you don get mouth o, talking to your elders like that ehn? By the way D’banj, how soon should we be expecting a big release too?

I Miss D’Banj – Don Jazzy Opens Up On D’Banj, Tiwa Savage

Mo’Hits Records boss, Don Jazzy has finally admitted that he misses D’Banj. He also denied the rumours thats been going round that he is having an affair with fellow Mavin team mate, Tiwa Savage.

He bared all these in an interview with Toolz of Beat FM on a program called “The Juice” on Ndani TV.
